Mobile theme seems quite broken today. Most interface images are missing. Switching to desktop mode fixes.

Chrome on Android

I’m having the same issue with my iPhone.

Any subforum or thread has broken interface images. Same with the user CP. But no problems at the forum root.

Observing the same thing using a Chromium-based browser on iOS.

Hmm - that's a bit of a mess, isn't it? 8O

Confirmed with Chrome and Vivaldi on Android, and that selecting "desktop site" on each restores a normal display of image components and formatting.

I'm afraid there's nothing I can do except PM Alex about it.

I'm getting occasional broken formatting on my desktop using Firefox these last couple of days, but it's far from consistent and a reload usually fixes it.

Things have gone a bit weird in the last few days from a formatting perspective.
Im on mobile and the pages of the forum have gone out of alignment and the emoji's are all gone and replaced with a picture icon, as are function buttons on posters profiles.
I've refreshed and restarted etc, hasn't made a difference.
Any insights?

The icons etc are all working fine for me. Have you tried clearing your browser cache and restarting your browser?

Having discovered that Firefox is responsible for some of what I thought were site coding errors, and not just here, I'm in the process of dumping it in favor of Vivaldi - https://vivaldi.com/
It's something of a "power user" browser, stuffed with neat features, and uses the Chrome web engine but none of Google's snooping/arm-twisting. It also features natively much of what used to be possible with Firefox add-ons until the developers took a different direction and broke most of them.

Raleigh, those images are exactly what I saw in Chrome, Vivaldi and Firefox on Android.

Radish, these errors occur on a mobile platform (Android, iOS) with the browser page option "Desktop site" (the wording may vary) unchecked. When checked the browser uses a different method of rendering the page, when the display errors do not appear - unfortunately sites become very difficult to use owing to the tiny page elements, which need pinch-zooming to be accessible.

Alex says he is travelling at the moment but will have a look as soon as he can.
