I often have a problem when reading people's posts because I do not know if they are male or female (obviously this is more of a problem when reading about issues pertaining to gender, such as dating, etc.) Although it is usually possible to figure this out through context clues, I would appreciate if Gender (and perhaps age as an optional field) could be displayed along with location, under a user's avatar when they post.

Any comments?

I think the author's name should be hyperlinked to their profile when they post. The way it is now, you need to look them up with the search function. Although even if there were a hyperlink, it would be nice to be able to show gender, just to save time when reading through topics where alot of people have posted.

EDIT: Ok, disregard this then

Uh, you don't have to search. Just click 'Profile' under their post.
