massive lag and blank page syndrome

is this the result of the luscious new fine-art ads? either way something is slowing up or failing log ins, page requests, etc in a sporadic way the last 24 hours or so.
Anyone else?

it's still happening; failed log ins leading to page saying you are trying to enter restricted area etc. Or long long waits with a blank pge before anything turns up.
What is it?

I had a similar thing occur whenever I tried to edit my profile, for about two or three weeks. Now I'm able to navigate the site just fine with no trouble.

Has anybody else observed these problems?

Just a guess here but I have worked on high use data sites where information is cached, because he is changing his profile - which is data it has to be re-distributed amongst the other servers holding the data.
