hello. I think I'd be a good candidate for being a mod in training. I'm respectful, can give good advise and am diplomatic.

While I understand there's a limited number of moderatorships available, I'd like to be considered for said position in the future.

I'm doing the same as well to become a mod because I'm will to help WP out when need plus I follow the rules that Alex made in the first place.

we don't select mods who ask they ask to become moderators because it usually indicates that the person will want to help wrong planet so much that they moderate things that should be left alone.

I think I was actually once offered the chance to be a moderator here. I turned it down on the grounds that it was more responsibility than I really need. Because that's all it is at the end of the day. I see other people who moderate on forums (effectively unpaid work) and it looks like such a thankless task for very little reward.

Yet if that kind of thing is your bag why not set up a forum of your own?

The people that make the best mods are the ones that turn the position down.

Pity it works like that, but nah, people that ask for it = thumbs down.

The greatest leader doesn't seek to lead, but does so naturally without praise.

Yeah I agree.

Sorry for asking then for mod.

My time will come eventually.

Waiting doesn't bothered me anyway.
