it does not work and for some strange reason, I get a 403 when trying. It DOES work in dillo though... I think this is pretty weird and needs fixage.

EDIT: yes, there are ELinks-users out there!

There are quite a wide range of browsers that are text only. elinks is one.

They can be used on machines that have incredibly little power. I.e. no graphics card or chips at all.

I would imagine they are popular with partially sighted or even blind people, as they are obviously very amenable to plain text-to-speech usage.

It can be quite instructive to either use a text-only browser, just to get the feel for it, or at least try turning off all images on your normal browser. It shows up those sites which make no attempt to be accessible.
