"The Vast majority of threads are deleted by the community, here are some of the Reasons why a thread may become Deleted:

* Redundunt Thread
* Thread Went Off Topic
* Thread Topic was Hijacked
* Turned into Chat Thread
* Extensive Trolling/Offensive Topic Matter
* Thread was severely Spammmed
* Bashing, Insulting, Slamming other Posters
* Libel/Slander Thread
* Flame War
* User Name in Thread Header or Opening Post
* Polarized Thread
* Excessive Sequential Replies/Post-Whoring
* Illegal/Unlawful Thread
* Copyright/Intellectual Property Infringment Thread
* Non-English Language Thread
* Improper Thread Format (Illegal UBB/HTML Code, CAPS, etc.)

We can not tell you what happened to your Thread because:

1. We do not keep any Records of deleted Threads.
2. We do not remember your Thread
3. We do not have Time to report deleted Threads.

If your thread is suddenly gone, its for 1 of the Reasons above.
Asking any Question beyond this point, is a waste of your and
our time, because ...

1. We do not keep any Records of deleted Threads.
2. We do not remember your Thread
3. We do not have Time to report deleted Threads."

The mods here are very tolerant, compared to other sites, personally I don't have an issue with certain threads being deleted, because if I say something in a certain thread that offends me it most likely has offended others too. Although sometimes I should zip it and just refer the thread or member to the mods, I am getting cranky in my middle age, shouting at the kids to get off my lawn.

I suppose those are written in the TOS of others forums, right?

I don't have a problem with it either, although sometimes you come late and want to reply to a locked forum (in the case of being locked not deleted) and you feel sorry for being late :P

maybe we should do a monthly past thread revival like a community film festival. Good topics stand the test of time.

They just delete your stuff if you put it in the wrong forum over there. All their moderators are nameless and faceless. I think I'll go moderate over there. They've got it much easier. :wink:

You know, you are making me feel envy for those who have power ;)
What is this forum about, well, rephrasing the question, is it not a forum about autism or aspergers?
After seeing this thread, I remember I stated before that I had seen other forum's TOS as well, not sure if I should post an example or not, as a thought.

We're tame by comparison. There, it'd just be like Teru Mikami writing in his Death Note and muttering 'Delete. Delete. Delete. Delete.'

I have a virtual girlfirend (one of many, virtual girlfriends are easy, it's getting them to show up IRL that's hard) who thinks "work" is a four-letter word. I tell her I have two jobs. I think she secretly likes it when I talk dirty to her. :lol: :lol: :lol:

I wonder if they're going to throw me out. I think my brutal honesty and expression of appreciation for same is causing a few to see a troll. How ironic. Do you know that your discussion can be auto-deleted if 7 out of 10 people vote so? Talk about mob rule!

Democracy always tramples the rights of minorities. When I, the autistic staff member, serve on a committee with 7 neurotypical staff members, we do what the neurotypical staff members want to do. I don't serve on committees anymore.
