Um, it saying: "Grow up!" to someone else considered to be a personal attack or an insult?

It can be a personal attack but it depends on the situation.

There are other mods on here besides, Alex, MrMark, Lau, Sinboldly, and QM. Their names are in green when they are browsing the forum.

surprise. Ed has been a mod for quite a long time. He has all the bells and whistles of any mod. If he is modding, then more power to him, we welcome any and all mods to activate at any time.

In that case Merle, what about my question? Did you view the link? Telling someone to Grow Up isnt really a personal(ized) insult as much as it is a sharp criticism of their behaviour and style of argument.

'Grow Up'. That about the most horrible, vulgar and just downright low insult I've ever seen tossed at anybody. It almost makes me ashamed of being almost human.

"Grow up" is almost universally viewed as an insult.

I see in the "active mods" sticky that we have a new one. Who's tinky? I don't remember seeing him/her around WP, but maybe we're just active in different parts of the board.
