Are there any rules that pertain to the accuracy of one's profile? Closest one I could find was the "impersonation" rule. I realize that it's impossible to verify the accuracy of any individual's profile, but if they're on the forum stating that they've intentionally falsified information in their profile - well it seems a bit dishonest and a disservice to the rest of us.

Just curious.

A few people do have inaccurate profiles, whether it is deliberate or a mistake is something to consider.

It is a disservice I agree but I have learned not to take it all so seriously and find it best to wait until I have met someone in person before I decide if they are trustworthy or not, though even then, it can be hard to tell.
