Hi. This is Shadesofme. Imma use this account for a minute, since Lau has banned me. My question is WHY? anyone want to give me some insight? I've contacted alex about this matter. Lau sent me a PM saying that signatures should be six lines or less, with no script or images in it. It was obviously quoted from the rules. I told him I thought he had the wrong person. He then sent me the cryptic "You have until the hour." That of course confused the heck out of me. I Replied "What are you talking about?????" Obviously I didn't have until the hour, because elss than five minutes after I sent that message, I get the message that i'm banned, and I cannot go anywhere on the forum with my account.


My question is this: Why was he claiming this, and banning me when my signature was only one line (~Shadesofme~)?? How can I get unbanned? I'm very confused.

I'm extremely depressed right now, and don't have any way to contact my WP friends except for OWA's account. I'm actually feeling like hurting myself right now, so anyone, help please!

You were banned for ignoring the rules, again.
I unbanned you prior to the above post.
As of this moment, you still have an eight line signature.
I strongly doubt that you were unaware of it, as you typed in the seven extra blank lines.

Look. You cannot go off banning people willy nilly.I said I was confused, and didn't understand, and you *still* did not explain to me. instead you immediately banned me. That is *not* Okay. My signature still is only one line, and I do not see how You would ever even notice if there *were* eight extra blank lines.

the maliciousness of this is questionable however

perhaps the wisest move would be to turn off your sig until the issue can be remedied

I agree that would be wise. I will do that, and then I want to get back to the topic of this man harassing me in this way continually.

Edit, well, it isn't turning off, obviously. I have no idea how to fix this, and I wish that The mod had helped me like he was supposed to.

Last time you did this, you insisted on turning my single warning PM to you into a long PM argument about whether blank lines counted in signatures. On that occasion, I spent some time explaining to you the reasoning behind the rule, and why it was to avoid signatures taking up excessive space on each page.

I explained then that the number six was completely arbitrary, but that was was was in the rules, so that was it. Not seven, as you had, that time, or eight, as you had this time.

I have had no interaction with you at all, since those initial PMs, other than the fact that you then opened a thread attacking me about it, and also commenting upon it in multiple other threads. All of which I generally ignored.

This time, you have done exactly the same. I find it hard to believe that you added seven blank lines to your signature by accident. I can only assume you did so to provoke me (against yet another rule). I have no idea how long your signature was like that. I always tell people when they violate rules. When they violate the same rules again, I assume they are doing so on purpose.

Yet again, you seem to want to turn a warning to you, about you breaking a rule, into a public debate about how it wasn't your fault.

My question to you is this: why, in each instance, did you not just look at your signature, correct the problem, and say "sorry"?
