'Other' topical discussion?

I think there should be an 'other' topical discussion, so we can rant about whatever our particular interests are. For example, I would like to use this place to dicuss dinosaurs. People with interests in trains or lightbulbs or wolves or whatever can post about their obsessions... what do you think?
