Mine are . . . kinda special. Yeah. That's a good way of saying that.
Special - good one. I'm going to have to start using that, if you don't mind
I exclusively use spiral notebooks. I get them for about $0.75 to $1 apiece in bulk (100 sheet college rules 8.5x11) in 3 or 4 different colors.
I briefly tried to keep them separate and color coded by subject, but that fell through pretty quickly because I just shove them in my backpack turned to the current page (so the colored cover is hidden) and I just pull one out at random when I need it. Yeah. So there's like, english lit notes on one page and some weird partial differential equations on the next.
Feel free.
Mostly I keep the the same subjects limited to specific notebooks, but on average, I'm always short on money for notebooks, so I improvise. I'll use a one subject notebook for 2 subjects. I just write it in for one, and then turn it upside down and write in the back for another. Meh.
As for my handwriting, this past semester I taught myself to write with my non-dominant hand. Now my handwriting's neater. Not only that, but I can take notes and draw at the same time now.
Keeps me out of trouble.
