So, if you do AS or A2 Levels, just out of curiosity, how did you do? The results have come out today.

I did AS levels, and did badly
English lang and lit: C
Psychology: D
Statistics: Failed

So I've totally gotta rethink my career.... Dang. Also have to do another year at college, universities won't accept me if not. Ah well.

Oh well. You can always make up for it in the next year, and maybe you could re-do some parts of the AS course at the same time.

A2 English Lang&Lit: A
AS Psychology: A

Before you all start verbally abusing me and/or try to steal my brain, I did get C's for Biology and Chemistry last year which meant I had to do some extra subjects to get accepted by Unis.

Although I didn't do A-Levels, I'll start doing them in September.

I'm sorry to hear that some of you didn't quite get the grades you'd hoped. I have a couple of friends who also have AS and I'm slightly upset that their results weren't very good.

It seems that you're asking for this year's tests, but I did some last year so I'll give you my response. Physics, Mathematics, Further Mathematics - Grades A. I didn't have to do four subjects because I was using an extremely different examinations board and only wanted them for university.

I got AABB at AS in Biology, Chemistry, French and Mathematics respectively. I will likely be resitting at least one paper in maths as I was not far off an A at all.

Do you do modular assignments at A-Level, that count towards your final mark?

Depends which subject you are taking and which exam board you are using.

Well I'll be doing Maths, Physics and Chemistry, all of which are OCR, and also Edexcel Geography. I've been told that there isn't any coursework for Maths and Geography, although I'm not sure about Chemistry and Physics.

I didn't do Chemistry with OCR, but I think most exam boards have a practical exam in A2, which counts towards the final grade. If I remember right, for my exam board (WJEC), the practical was half a module.

I got my AS level results, and the results of a maths A2 I took early:

Biology - AAB :D
Chemistry - AAB (You're going to hate me for this, but I'm ashamed - I could have done better)
Physics - ABB
Maths AS - BBB
Maths A2 - CUU :?

It's a bit akward - I have heard the results of two friends and one has not done as well as he'd hoped, and one has done quite badly (C,D,E,U). I feel like the only one who's done okay! I hope others are celebrating and not being sad.

Chemistry: C
Biology: C
Mathematics: D
Law: A

I know where my careers going from those results, I've been accepted to go to keele to do biochemistry and law.

Just finished lower 6th (year 12)

AS Further Maths grade A
AS Physics grade A - 300/300!!
AS Chemistry grade A - 300/300!!
AS Biology grade A
A2 Maths grade A - 498/600 (June 2007 - did it 2 years early  )

Well that's the only good thing about having Aspergers for me, as it makes me very good at Maths and science.

Well done! You're like a bloody savant! 8O

We do nearly the same subjects! (I'm not doing Further Maths) Do you know what you want to do for a career or degree?
