grade school or College it does matter. For any of you that have children know of at a young age lets say Kindergarten mommy I learned how to spell cat CAT you praise the child etc. (With me?) IMO I call this loving to learn behavior well as an adult I'm strange I have Loving to Learn behavior I still act like your 5 year old child WOW I learned X about Psychology unlike your child (gets praise) I get told (Oh whatever I don't want to learn about Psychology from my mom) So I fell on talking to the teacher about Psychology (I had no friends to do it with) and also telling her WOW awesome lecture I didn't know X about Psychology etc. Obviously Psychology is a special interest but I've always loved learning does this sound familiar to anyone? :-)

oh yeah. both my husband and i spew back tid-bits of information at each other all day. he is happy when i come home from school and learned something. i am always happy when i've mastered a new concept in school. i am also happy when he learned something new, too. (he is also very enthusiastic about learning.)

Haha, you should have seen me the day I finally fully realized the difference between preterit and imperfect tenses in Spanish class. I wouldn't stop talking about my revelation even though I know nobody knew what I was talking about. :D

Thats basically what Im like now in regards to school.I love college and love learning and always like discussing the concepts with the instructors.I am taking the legal assistant course at Red Deer College.

I hated high school though...due to the bullying and the fact I was horrible at math and sciences..

I am obsessed with learning. Everyone, including my teachers tell me I have to make room for rest and fun. But I can't. I have to remind myself, that I have to get up at 5 in the morning, so I have to put the studying away.
I live, breathe, eat, and sleep studying, especially human Anatomy, chemistry, especially the math parts, Math, and writing. When i do have rest time, I end up studying within 15 minutes later, which is why I am ahead in everything.

Yes I can absolutely relate to that. I often talk to my Profs about their lectures. I have a special interest in psychology too. I talk about certain concepts I learn in school incessantly, and my friends/family usually just ignore what I say and change the subject...to something WAY more boring  lol

The learning was very strange. "French is an easy language to learn" If that was true, I'd be fluent in it. It's not the ideal first language to learn at all. Then came German, MUCH easier. A few months out of school, and I lost track of it all.

Then it was time to find a language I can learn my way. I think I have found one that conforms to all the simple rules, I just need a native speaker to help me out. Turkish :) I don't know why people say, "Oh! That's a hard language to learn with [IMITATES SOUND ASSOCIATED WITH PHLEGM]" I just need a native to help me with some of the stuff... But I am onto a good start.

Whenever it came to computers, my interest waned off as it was so basic

I do that quite often, mostly with my parents, and with some of my e-friends. Psychology was one of the worst, fortunately, I'm not taking that anymore, but I still do a lot of self-study so once in a while something crops up. :)

With my dad we always discuss computer science since that's his job. :P
Dunno what you were doing, Keith, but computers can be far from basic, if I understood you correctly.

Oh, haven't we heard that one before... It's actually funny since I get plenty of sleep and I play video games as "fun" and do some hobby's, but since people don't see that side they just assume from my comments about studying that I don't do anything else.

I'm actually learning German right now. Much harder than Spanish, but still easier than Russian.

I certainly see college as a big improvement compared to high school.

Mmmmm...... kind of. I still like learning and always have. But, I like to learn because it helps you learn skills and everything and is healthy for your brain. I hearing people talk about how they make a living off of their art interest (example: acting, especially the not so famous actors), and history. ha ha
