This needs a better scale

6- I'm naturally ok at math...B
7- I slightly enjoy math, and I'm pretty good at it...B+ or A-

Oh, and it also needs to be clarified the type of math:
1- Elementary math
2- Algebra 1
3- Geometry
4- Algebra 2
5- Trigonometry
6- Precalculus
7- Calculus
*Anything beyond calculus is genius in my books

1 I am 10
2 I am 9
3 I am 9
4 I am 9.5
5 I am 7 because I took the course online
6 I am 7.5 because the teacher taught differently

I'll see for 7 in a while!

Those are excellent scales! :D

Overall I'd have to say that I am a 2.

By type of math:

1) I am 3
2) I am 2
3) I am 2
4) I am 2
5) I am 0
6) I am 0
7) I am 0

Everything beyond 3rd grade math is incomprehensible to me.

That was a long time ago though.

Then you are probably one of the kid's I was horribly afraid of. :D

I was above average in high school but in university math classes I'm average or below average.

Average. I have the ability to be above average, I'm told, but I'm not interested in it. I tend to forget steps to solve problems.

Definitely above average but definitely not a genius either.

Haha, that's why i don't want to go to calculus for college, because I can deal with them mixing, but I can't deal with doing math with just letters......apparently "math" is made of words and letters, nit numbers. :?

I despise anything other than geometry and simple math. Algebra and Calculus both bore me to death, and I just can't wrap my head around them sometimes.

On the other hand, I somehow managed to score high enough on the ACT's math section to not have to take any math courses at the college I'm attending:
English: 31
Math: 28 (I really don't know how I got this; maybe I'm just good at tests  )
Reading: 31
Science: 30
Composite: 30

Writing: 6 out of 12
Combined English/Writing: 27
 F*** writing.

ACT scores.

Total score: 26 :?

English: 25 :?

Math: 27 :)

Reading: 27 :)

Science: 23

I hadn't taken a science class for almost 2 years then, so that's why I did bad on that.
Also, I am horrible at timed tests.
Meh, I am average apparently.

I hate math. My mother always told me that I just wasn't trying hard enough, but I really can't wrap my mind around it. 2+2, I got that. 3x3, I got that. But what is long division? How do I find x? What do you honestly expect me to do with this graph and a bunch of random letters? I'm going into elementary algebra when I start college in the fall because anything harder is beyond me.

I suppose that's a stereotype within the AS/ASD community of being math & science whizzes.

I was Principal's Honor Roll until the 5th Grade, when I got my first C. In Math.

It's hasn't improved much since grade school, except I had got a 91 for one nine weeks, but got 74, 76, and 72 for all of the Nine Weeks. I still don't know how that's possible.

I made B's in all of my Maths in College so far, but because of the online HW assignments we did, we could correct and get all 100%
I made no grade higher than a 74 on any of my tests for my College Algebra class. I might have made a 70 on the Finals, and still end up with a B. I know I didn't deserve the grade, but how could I tell that to my professor :(
As for science. Biology was easy, and so was Earth Science. Physical Science (Physics) was always no higher than a 77 in anything except 'group work'. Too much Math in that science. I know C's are 'average' on most grading scales, but considering me making B+ to A+ on everything else, C is unsatisfactory.....

Which makes me wonder if NLD can be linked with certain ASDs (Not saying I have NLD, but I'm curious)...

I'm by no means a genius, but I have no problem describing myself as being above average with numbers.

In Denmark we have the grades: -3, 00, 02, 4, 7, 10 and 12. The average in school overall is 4.2 or 4.4 about there.
We get 3 grades in math here, Oral, skills and logic/problem solving. I got 10 in oral and skills while I got 7 in problem solving.
But that's thanks to my teacher I got in 7th grade 3 years ago (I just finished what would be called jr. High in the US)
Before I had him I sucked at math (we had 4 math teams and I was on the 3rd worst) but that was because my teachers was soooo bad at teaching me but they didn't know back then I was an aspie.
