What do you mean "there's no way I will be needing it in future"? What are you planning to do in the future? There's hardly any professional route nowadays that doesn't need a very strong basis in maths!

Math also trains the mind like nothing else. I finally grasped trigonometry after seeing a series of animations on late night TV. You might check YouTube for something like that.

What level of math are you covering?

College level? Middle school? High school?

Get a tutor. You can find them online, but I would suggest finding someone in person. There are plenty of math/physics majors who tutor and would be able to explain things in reasonable terms.

Also, find math that's more fun. I hate algebra but I love geometry and statistics. Can you pick a math class more suited to your strengths?

I agree. I am horrible in pure math but I did very well in geometry, intro statistics and physics because it makes SENSE and its applicable.

Advanced algebra and higher math.. doesnt. Its like a religion: believe in the quadratic equation.. yada yada yada..

Thats it! Im a math infidel. 'urrah :D

What can you do? Dump the idea that you won't need it later, to begin with. That's what I did.

yeah math definitely works your brain, after taking trig. i felt like a new person. it took a lot of memorization and understanding. didn't really understand it too well but did what i could. It will give you a glimpse into some stuff you might of never thought you would think of. puts your daily life on formulas.
