In k-9, it was art. I've always been a day dreamer. I won't get into details, but after years of trying to figure out who I am, I think that I want to major in Philosophy. A lot of thought has been put in to this decision. I think a lot, so I figure why not pursue that? Eventually, getting paid to think my own thoughts? I'm in.
If anyone wants to read what I started writing last night, let me know, and I'll send it to you for review. I'm trying to figure out how comfortable I'll be in a class setting. I'm also trying to get opinions from others, of what I write.
I did Philosophy at uni and absolutely loved it. I found it really hard at first because of looking at so many different viewpoints but realised by second year that you can focus on one theory in detail and analyse it which I really liked doing, then relate it to whatever you're interested in. I did optional modules in Creative Writing so my degree(s) ended up being rewriting fairy tales (my special interest) through different philosophical theories of identity and I'm about to start a PhD in it, can't wait!! Feel free to send anything you want read through
