It was arranged to meet up wit a group of friends today at a certain time for coffee so I went into town and waited 20 minutes but they didn't show so I rang one of them and they went somewhere else but forgot to tell me and they then said come to them but I was like no then they were like at least we made an effort if you don't want to come fine then. The basically turn it around and started blaming me but it wasn't my fault they stood me up.Then they were like u really don't understand us at times which hurt cos I didn't think my Aspergers was that bad.I am sensitive so got upset over this. They really don't understand what Aspergers is? I am disappointed in them. Help I'm confused. My family say that they were in the wrong. I don't know :?:

Your family are right your friends were in the wrong. Your friends have the problem, people like that aren't worth being friends with and they should understand aspergers if they were your real friends but that's my opinion.

Some know but haven't got a clue what Aspergers is and how it affects me which is annoying. They just don't get me. I do have a few friends outside of college that do get my Aspergers and are understanding and patience wit me which is great but its a shame that some people still don't understand what Aspergers is, All this drama has given me a headache!
