So I have a problem regarding education. I'm really, REALLY into languages. It's probably my special interest. I'm fluent in English, Spanish, French, Russian and I'm currently learning Belarusian, Japanese and Mandarin. They're all mainly self-taught. I just want to do languages. Nothing else. I'm finding it really hard having to study other subjects I just don't care about, I'll probably fail them. Is there any way you can just study languages at A-level in England? Any colleges that let you that you know of?

What about learning other subjects in a different language? I'm not sure if it's possible but if you are fluent in Spanish/French, can you take (for example) a science course taught in Spanish/French?

Is there a French Immersion school for your education level?

I'm not very familiar with the line of work, but if you are fluent in so many languages you may be able to go into translations. Your best bet would probably be some sort of government agency, since they handle far more international affairs than most private companies. It's a good line of work, I'm just not sure of how many jobs there are in the field or how well they pay. There are indeed degrees in specific languages, just keep in mind that they may not provide you with very many employment opportunities.

There are degrees that focus on languages.

There is also Linguistics.. it doesn't study the language per say but how the language/words/etc work and are constructed. There are very few linguists in the world so its a very well paid field if you're good at it.
