OMG...I am interested in the Shamanistic aspects of Shinto as well...I'm surprised to find someone with the same interest...

My major is Literature...
And I have a whole lot of other interests that I can't sum up neatly...

I have considered Psychology/special education...and doing counseling/therapeutic work with depressed or autistic people...
But I don't think I am talented in that area...and I also don't have good impression on counseling...It is an important work, but I feel that in some cases it is financially taking advantage of emotionally vulnerable/unstable people...Although I believe many counselors/therapists are doing invaluable work...as in one of the books by Joanne Greenberg called I Never Promised You a Rose Garden....It is based on the author's experience with Frieda Fromm-Reichmann, the renowned psychologist and the wife of Erich Fromm...She is such a brilliant person!

I wish to get certified in dance/drama/art therapy...though...and become a certified Jungian analyst!! !

And although it may sound unrealistic, I hope to get an MFA in dancing/fine arts (or maybe BFA for fine arts...) some day...and make my debut at New York Dance Theater Workshop!

i'm currently taking computer engineering. it's my first year since i transfered from electric engineering in another college.

I spent quite a bit of time undecided because I like a bit of everything. Finally, I decided to major in Physics because it was not something I could teach myself, and it's very interesting.

I went and got my BA in Music back in the mid 90's. Now, I am 8 months away from having my Masters in Computer Science.

Hence the user name.

Biology, probably focusing on evolution, behavior and systems biology. I like the complexity, for every found answer several new questions pop up. And maybe I will have a chance to do something positive for wildlife in this region.

Special education. I haven't gotten to where we choose a minor yet but I'd love to minor in music or psychology.

Doing a BA majoring in Ancient History and a BSc majoring in Geology.

Currently in Master's in Nursing Administration program, may switch to Community and Public Health Nursing. Goal was to get a PhD so I could do independent research in my area of special interest, which is infectious diseases of IV drug users. Finding the process of getting there a tad difficult (the politics/people, not the material) so may just drop out and live off the land. Raising chickens is one of my other interests, fortunately.

I am majoring in geology as well.

Me too! Health Information Management. I like it quite a bit.

I'm thinking about majoring in special education but then I have other interests like criminal justice or social working or acting. I want to start going to school in the fall.
