When I went to school previously, I got my degree, but with a crap GPA. At the time I had depression and anxiety, but now not so much. I still get frustrated, but there is not such an existential element to it. I have a lot of prereqs done so I will likely go into a post BA program to take classes for something I actually like. I am hoping to get into OCS (I am not formally diagnosed) , and then use that to get my masters. Has anyone else gone back for a Post BA education?

Yes. I know that autism is one of those things that is a dq, but as I am not formally diagnosed (a therapist said I may have pddnos 15 or so years ago, but even that is murky in terms of record). I will try my luck as the job market seems just as inhospitable and simply have a degree does not seem to cut it anymore.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude four times. Take it from me: No one cares about your GPA. No one at all. Don't worry about it.

I also hear you about the depression. I was depressed for the first part of my life. I had a shocking experience and it just went away. I don't think that can be replicated, but it proved to me that depression is a biological thing that has to be managed. I haven't taken an antidepressant since the shocking event and I've just been fine. Like a new person. So it might be a permanent thing for you, but it might not. Just do your best to keep moving forward.

I suggest you aim for studies that are "mildly pleasant" but not your wildest dreams come true. You want to settle into a routine where your post-graduate life is preparing you for work. So look for interesting, but make sure you're having a good life balance.

Well the idea with this is that with a good enough gpa certain government agencies could take me on and then go to an even better school and have better job security. But one thing at a time. I am tired of having to fight over pay etc. . It almost seems better to work my butt off and compete the same amount for elite jobs, but I do have a few contingencies if those big ideas fall apart. I have been taking some hormones and seems to help a lot more. Not perfect , but has calmed me down.
