I've had difficulties with certain subjects & wanted to ask what the WP community finds difficult? If you are high school level or higher, please respond. As we get older, sometimes we grow out of simply 'disliking' a subject but actually realize we are not good at it. Kind of like not finding broccoli good, but later on realizing that adding some salad dressing makes it just barely edibile.

While Science and Math can be hard for me (Science more then math, never taking Science EVER again), and History is boring, I really can't process another language. I'm really good with the language I have, English, but my brain can't understand French. It's really important because my town is bilingual and I know that French is important, but I can't get it no matter how I try. Of course, oral has to be my worst part in french, I can actually understand quite a bit (more then I would if you spoke it to me) if you give me a piece of paper with some French on it.

I picked English. I am good at usage and grammar. I just can't write an essay. I'm failing English because of it. Math is easy to me. I'm not taking any of the other classes in the poll.

Literature I selected English because it's the closest. I can't see the point of it and see it as a waste of time. iI find history the next hardest espicaly when it is a religon based circulium and they want you to say thr war was solved because such and such prayed to God. Possible but is it also possible that by praying they subconciously gave themselves more stamina to fight? I don't want to come to other people's BS conclusions. Maybe their prayers really did help them win the war, but there is no evidence of that. Unless there is evidence of something, I don't want to be brainwashed. Am I learning historty or am I learning religion? Let's just stick with the facts that can be proven. I REFUSE to use a Christian biology. I did one once but it was nothing more than themed religion course. As a future veternarian, I want to learn REAL science concepts. I will study religion on my own terms and will form MY OWN conclusions. Everything I expirence is a lesson in God. When I study biology, it teaches me how God made His creations tick (or at least how we think they do). It dosen't speficaly say there is no God. Basic math, arethimitic (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division) were insanely hard and I saw math as impossible until I started algebra. I can do algebra but have to use a calculator to solve the arethimitic problems within the formula. Aside from the arethmitic problems, algebra is a breeze.

That's easy, foreign languages. I have never been good at them, the only exception is English (but you hear it constantly on the television, read on the internet, etc.) . I could never remember the words. And there were 3 foreign languages mandatory for 4/6 years (English, German and French) . But so many languages, I doubt there are many countries where there are so much mandatory (I live in the Netherlands). Literature wasn't very pleasant either, I just dislike being forced to read books.

History can be quite nice, if you have a teacher that knows what he is talking about, links the different facts to make it clear for you why certain decisions were made. Lessons about religion can be quite fun, also here it is very important to have the right teacher. They must be able to make a story of it, otherwise it is very boring for me. I find it interesting to learn about the different visions on the world, though I realised that only recently. Any Science subject, and/including maths was too easy for me, I'm just too good at it.

Also, I found it very boring to write essays and therefore I disliked quite a few courses, though I liked the subjects that were taught. I never had any trouble with too religious teachers, none of my teachers taught there subjects in a religious way. The only thing close was the biology teacher how is a Darwinian and finds the creationist thinking ridiculous. He made some jokes about a a big book send by creationists to promote there ideas on schools.

I voted art but I didn't see foreign language. I would have voted foreign language.

I have trouble with art because what the teacher wants me to draw I don't do. I can't force myself to do it...

And I just fail at Foreign Language. I slept through compulsory Japanese and recieved a D. I didn't care.

I voted Physics. Even though I've never taken the class I already know I'd struggle with it. During my freshman year in high school I was required to take a class called Integrated Physics and Chemistry, and that was one of the hardest classes I've ever taken in high school. I took Chemistry last year and that was pretty hard as well, so I'm not even going to bother with Physics.

My best areas tend to be English and Social Studies.

I voted English For several reasons. One I am really good at math and science and pretty good at history and social studies so that is the only thing left that I can be bad at. Second, even though our school district is one of the best in the USA, the district never really taught us grammar and when then taught us a little it was too late because our brain's have developed our english skills to as much as were gonna know. Third, AS is a social disorder and because english is involved with interaction with other, I can see why people with AS have a hard time remembering english because, we don't interact as much.

I voted economics because while I know about economic issues, I had little interest in basic economics. But I did learned somethings from that class that I can apply to real life.

Math is my worst subject. My mind can't wrap around the formulas. I mean, the first time I get it, but about 3 hours later I don't have a clue. :(

Definitely math. I have NVLD, so it's only natural that math would be my choice. I suck at physics, too, but that is just because physics is almost 100% math. I understand (and like) physics concepts, but unlike chemistry and biology and other sciences, you truly can't understand physics if you aren't good at math. Maybe I should have voted for physics, though, since algebra is in the math poll choice; algebra's the only math I'm good at. I'm abysmal at geometry, trig, and all types of word problems. I'm in calc II right now, and the only reason I've been able to keep up in calculus so far is because it's just been mostly advanced algebra.

Well each area can be difficult. I myself voted for math, but it could have easily been something else like art or language (as in literature and similar). Reason i find all of them difficult is the simple fact that to pass serious university level of each of those 3 you have to either get it or you just won`t make it. It`s almost impossible to learn these things, you have to have a good feeling for them and it`s something that is largely given and then taught in early stages of life (maybe).

I was great with maths until I hit calculus... then I crashed and burned. It turned out good on my part that I only did one of the advance maths subjects in my final year of HS instead of both. I also find that languages take up a lot of head space and struggled with the practical component of science.

I voted mathematics, because the hardest classes I've taken have been math. (A couple grad-level math courses)

I probably would find physics or maybe chem more difficult, but I've never studied those subjects at an advanced level.

Ive always had an issue with physics (im more into logic than movement). Besides, something about how we calculate movement, acceleration, etc never made sense to me . . . like some calculation or constant was missing. Granted, i have something of a spatial issue anyway (poor judge of distance, or low kinesthetic sense) so i could never really visualize half of the word problems (let alone not take them literally).
