Seriously, they annoy me. I don't know why, I guess it's because my regular teachers are part of my school routine so yeh, I panic. Having said that though, if I know them from different lessons, I'm fine.

I like substitute teachers.
They have a lot of bizarre eccentricities that are fun to observe: One of my school's subs wears only matching clothes and mocassins, another dresses in rainbow-colored t-shirts and teaches through storytelling, and yet another constantly arrives in class dressed like a clown.
Of course, while they can be fun to watch, a lot of substitute teachers can be pretty mean or scary.

I don't like any other teachers but my own because they know what they are doing the other teacher has no clue to what they are doing. it makes me panic and I turn that panic it resent them because I never do my work if the teacher doesn't do the right thing that my other teacher dose then I feel weird and want to protest against what they are doing but i never really do it because teachers have to get sick as they are human.

I never used to do my work either. I now go to the library.

supply teacher are very very very annoying. normally if the normal teacher give us any warning the class are happy but i am not, because i know that in a supply teachers lesson i will not be able to do things the strange quirky way i normally do. thisvery much offends me as i am unsure what i am meant to do otherwise. Also if the teacher are not aware that i am mute they often get talking to me and i get in trouble when i don't respond.

One thing I hate most are student teachers; they spoil your education so you can't learn the material the same as you did when you had your regular teacher.

I never saw student teachers at my other school

For me, not all supply teachers are annoying. Only when they try and teach you stuff you already know or know nothing about are they annoying, not to mention if they don't listen to you.

I've only had substitute teachers who actually know what they are doing a couple of times. Usually, that's when a teacher who doesn't have a class substitutes for a teacher who is gone within their general scope of knowledge and training. For example, once we had the physics teacher at our school substitute in chemistry, which worked out well. :)

Hmmm......some teach you stuff you already know then won't listen when you try to tell them it's already been covered.

I don't usually notice; I've never had one teach a lesson. Usually they just give us a test or some makework or a movie or whatever. We're free to ignore them all period.

Substitutes probably have the worst job anyone could have at a school.

My memory of subs was that they were nothing more than babysitters. Invariablely, especially in junior high school, there would be one or two students in a class who would make it a point to give the sub as much hell as humanly possible. This would culminate with the student being kicked out of class, but not before lots of laughs were had by the class.

I've always found supply teachers to be extremely easy meat for those who misbehave in classes. For some reason, they never seem to have any authority or presence about them, which sends out signals to the "class clowns" that they can give them a whole load of grief. They also never seem to be qualified for the subject they are meant to be teaching, either.

There was only one Substitute Teacher that I've had in my 13 years of Schooling that I've liked. He knew what he was doing, and he looked like the Father on "Happy Days". I've liked him so much, that I did a Pen Sketch of his Face so that I wouldn't forget him. The other Substitutes were Crap.

People think that just because the power of our normal teacher to keep the class quiet is not there, the class decide to be very noisy, and whimsically disruptive, while others will have a laugh instead of doing the work and completely defy the seating plan. That is just very illogical and stupid.

At the end of the lesson I will have been the only person to have sat in the correct place! Phut! Some people... :x
