I live on campus with three guys in suite (we each have our own room) and we get along very well. I like living on campus because then you do not have to deal with your parents all the time in the year (About 1/3 of the year during breaks).

I still live at home, since I can't afford an apartment. I go to a community college, so on-campus housing isn't an option, and honestly not having to live in a dorm with other annoying people is part of the reason I chose to go to community college.
I hate having to still live with my parents though, but usually I don't get home until they're asleep and wake up after they go to work so it's not as bad as it could be I guess.

I'm not in University yet, but I believe I'm going to stay at home. My mom is offering rent free living, with everything included. What other place would do that :D
I don't think I would do well in a dorm anyways - I find a lot of people are really catty! I don't need that during my down time.

I live in the dorms. Luckily for me the guys on my floor aren't jackasses like everyone I knew in high school, so there haven't been any real problems.

I lived in an apartment so I didn't have to deal with annoying people and I never had to live with my parents at any time of the year. It was about 5 mins from campus.

And I could cook my own meals.

I'm at a community college so yes. Even if I do transfer to a college that has a campus, I would never stay there....ever.

I am going to a community college next year and I plan on living at home. I have several computers and game systems and I like my own space too much to have a room mate.

I lived at home when I went to college and it would have been great if my sister had moved out of state like she said she was going to do instead of deciding to stay home at the last minute. She always tried to have a hand in everything I did, tried to tell me what to do, etc., and our parents often supported it to keep her happy. She got to be happy and I didn't.

When she did finally move it, it got alot better because my parents pretty much left me alone to do what I wanted as long as I kept my grades up. They didn't care if I spent every Saturday night watching Dr. Who and Red Dwarf instead of going to football games like when my sister was home.

When she came back though, it all went by the wayside, but when she left again, it was all fine again.

Never made sense to me as to why my sister had to be catered to the way she was.

It isn't uncommon to have a single occupancy dorm room. Someone next door to me when I did live in the dorm lived by herself and could lock her things in her room. She ended up inviting someone else to move in with her later on.

I live in a dorm, for the first 2 months it wasn't much fun, but when I moved in with my bud it got better. Now I'm in a 2 person suite.

I live at home. I couldn't stand living in a dorm. They're too small, and you have to share them with strangers. I'd go insane if I couldn't get any privacy.
Not to mention the good possibility I'd be constantly surrounded by stupid people.

I'm currently living at home w/ my parents while attending college because my parents refused to pay for the highly expensive on-campus at my university. However, the good news is that I have my peace and privacy in the house and can concentrate very well on my homework there.
