That book, in my opinion, excellently described the average teenager perfectly (including me).

Numbers!! !! I was literally in love with them in 5th, 6th and 7th grade, but now i'm just fascinated by them. Whenever someone called out a number i liked, i would sream "Ahhhwww!" as if i saw some cute kittens. if one of my beloved numbers was printed on a clean enough surface, i licked it. i muttered to myself millions of random numbers, thought about them in my sleep, and wrote them all over my school supplies. boy, you could imagine how excited i got during math class. :)

I've always had the same basic interests, or at least they all stem from eachother. they do come and go in intense phases though. It started out with building elaborate forts, dams, and weird stuff out in the yard, to electronics and audio equipment, to fishing, to bicycles, to machining and fabrication, to auto mechanics, to music, to motorcycles, and all over and over again in a vicious intense circle. It almost seems like everytime one of my interests cycle around again they get more and more intense. I take it up a notch every time.

I'm a musician, but I hold interests in meteorology, Lion King, and dinosaurs. I also find geology fascinating as well.

I don't see lot of this abnormal. Here's an example of an abnormal interest: me liking diapers. Now that is an abnormal interest. I also like adult babies and diaper lovers and I enjoy going around online looking for people with those interest in my area. I met two others here so far and one happens to live in the same neighborhood as me. Freaky eh and he works at the grocery store two blocks away from where I live. I'm looking forward to having some diaper fun with people whom meet my interest.

In the past my abnormal interests were peeing outdoors, torturing my Barbie dolls, wearing Barbie heads in my underwear, wearing more than one pair of panties, blowing noses, pooping and peeing, and writing stories about big people wearing diapers and I still do. I also throw in AS but never mentioned the label in one of them because I decided to keep it discreet and leave it up for the readers to decide what is wrong with the character. Ive only mentioned her having a learning disability. Actually I can't decide if the character has AS or not or has PDD-NOS.

Now that is what I call abnormal. Is this an abnormal interest? I liked shorts when I was 5 because Christopher Robin was my favorite character so I always had to wear shorts when it was nice out to be just like him. I was also obsessed with someone’s last name Niehaus (knee-House) when I was 7 because it gave me a funny picture in my head. I also liked the name Anita when I was 12. I think capital punishment would be an abnormal interest because who would like reading about people getting put to death. I find that disgusting but yet I like reading about it and watching movies about it.

My normal interests are: Benny & Joon, Spokane, Aspergers, PDD-NOS, videogames, disabilities and mental illnesses, computers, traveling, reading, writing, Johnny Depp, acting, Mary Stuart Masterson, sex, meeting men in my area, old buildings, shopping, key chains, Hello Kitty, Teletubbies, list goes on.

My past interests were: London, Dalmatians, 101 Dalmatians, Jurassic Park, dinosaurs, weather, the human body, Home Alone 1 and 2, A League of Their Own, James Bond, Titanic, Joely Richardson, maps, Winnie the Pooh, Alice in Wonderland, planets, Mt St Helens, mental retardation, anorexia, cerebral palsy, TY Beanies, list goes on.

some of those ore odd...but strangly interesting :)
You know, I always wanted to pee in my pants  but never have yet (well when I was a baby yes)
