I loved college and often wish I could relive it or that it had lasted longer. I had a lot of fun and positive experiences in college and the longer I had been there, the more I enjoyed the experience.

For the first time in my life I felt accepted the way I am. I got to know my classmates well and they were very friendly. I didn't really make any actual friends (as in friends I spent time with after school) because I'm just not good at initiating that kind of thing, but I got a lot of friendly acquaintences that I hung out with at school and when working together on assignments. I was accepted as a part of the group and respected just the way I was and for the first time in my life I was not being excluded or bullied at school.

I also learned a lot and enjoyed all that new knowledge and skills too.

In my country, when you're in college you don't go and live on campus. You still live in your own home and just go to college during the day. I don't know if my experience would have been different had I lived on campus. I do know that my time spent in college was among the best times of my life so far.

I had a great time in college. Some of the social stuff was challenging, but it was an art school and eccentricity was part of the culture, so people were very accepting. All the normal stuff was great - people, professors, classes, etc. but ...here comes a useless aspie obsession....I especially loved memorizing and going over and over all the class requirements for the different degrees. hee hee.

It wasn't totally useless though, since I did catch my advisers in several mistakes that would have cost me lots more time and money.

I hope you have a great time, too. :)

I loved college, once I was emotionally mature enough to handle it. I had a false start when I was 17; I may have been academically advanced but I wasn't ready. I didn't truly enjoy myself until I left community college and went to a real university.

I actually DID enjoy a lot of the social aspects of college. I wasn't forced into it like I was in high school. I could pick and choose friends from groups of people who were like me. I was able to find people who wanted to geek out about the same things that I loved! Finally, someone else "got" why doing sudoku puzzles is more soothing than reading books. Someone else "got" why I like to take apart language and turn it into logical rules and patterns.

For me, the living situation is an important part of the experience. My first year went badly at times because the people I was living with made negative and wrong assumptions about my character because of the way I can come across to people. They know better now and have apologised but I'm accepted by the new people I live with now and I'm having a great time now. I like the overall experience and the social side more than the academic side since I want to make the most of my time here to gain experience and social skills. Its also a great place to meet some unique and interesting people.

College courses are at a higher level than high school classes, and the material is presented at a faster pace. Plus, college professors are more likely to assign more reading and homework, which might be something most high school students are not used to. Give yourself an opportunity to adjust gradually to the new academic demands. Choose a course load that includes some challenging classes and others that will be less intense so that you can best manage your college workload.

In college you may not always have the same day-to-day support system that you have had in high school, but college is full of resources to help you adjust and get the help you need. Professors, tutors, counselors and resident advisors are all there to help you, but in college it is up to you to initiate getting help. College requires dedication, keeping up in your classes and setting aside time everyday to complete your homework and course requirements. Learning to plan wisely will help make the transition from high school to college easier and will reduce your daily stress and will allow you to enjoy more of your college experience. The good news is that once you do adjust to college life, there are many opportunities for great experiences, learning and living.

Television (TV) is a widely used telecommunication medium for transmitting and receiving moving images, either monochromatic ("black and white") or color, usually accompanied by sound. "Television" may also refer specifically to a television set, television programming or television transmission. The word is derived from mixed Latin and Greek roots, meaning "far sight": Greek tele , far, and Latin visio, sight (from video, vis- to see, or to view in the first person).

Video is the technology of electronically capturing, recording, processing, storing, transmitting, and reconstructing a sequence of still images representing scenes in motion.

Film encompasses individual motion pictures, the field of film as an art form, and the motion picture industry. Films (also referred to as movies or motion pictures) are produced by recording photographic images with cameras, or by creating images using animation techniques or visual effects.

I hate college. I love the social aspect of it but the work is too much for me. I always needed more time on tests or a second chance to take them. They don't have that at my college. I'm such a slow learner -_____-

no. Undergraduate school has been a bad experience for me socially and academically. I hated the social stuff and I learned to repeat information. I really haven't learned anything about how to think or process information and I am a senior. Also, I don't learn like everyone else does so that has made course work hard for me at times. I am different college points that out at every chance it gets. I am hoping graduate school will be better and hopefully that will give undergraduate school a point. I would carefully consider why you are doing this. If you really want it, then go for it. If not, save yourself the trouble. Good luck

I did this too..... It was awesome to watch my advisor's face when I pointed out her mistakes
