I was looking through a History textbook at school and someone had scribbled swastikas and a curly moustache on Hitler!! ! However, most of the time when I see doodles in textbooks, they are of rude things. I saw one of those 'rude things' drawn on a photo of Snow White in a Geography textbook covering Disneyland and tourism.

"Damn, that mustache!" written next to Louis Riel.
When I was in Grade 7, at the end of the year I went through my entire science textbook and completely wrote all over it. I don't know why, but it was oddly satisfying

Someone was trying to work out a problem in my mass transfer/diffusion textbook...they had all of their work shown and several wrong answered scratched out. Below the last scratched out wrong answer, they wrote "Screw it, I'm switching my major to business"
