That was rough on me until I took a ridiculously hard requirement and got a B in that as well, it would have f**** with me if that one class was my only B but whatever now I have 2 of them and so that narrow miss isn't screwing up a "perfect GPA" anymore.
Perhaps for that kind of reason, my university refuses to ever tell us our exact mark and the required marks for each grade after the exam. We just get the grade letter, so there's no way to tell if we narrowly missed the next band or narrowly got into the current one.
