Just do it. Leaving high school was the best thing that ever happened to me.

Bad idea imo,

You`ll need social experience, even if you don`t like to socialize. School is one of the biggest sources of social experience. Try to develop your social skills. It will make finding work later on easier, even going to the shop or something will be a lot easier.

Leaving high school has more consequences then you think.

Not necessary. For a lot of aspies high school is a very bad place for socialising.

I was in a couple of AP classes in high school (AP Lit, AP Psych, and Freshman Honors English). To me they weren't any quieter than General Ed classes or Special Ed classes.

Most homeschooling parents are concerned about socialization, so if there is a strong homeschooling community in your area, you can find groups where you might take classes 1-3 days a week with other students but do the rest of the work online at home.

What would your parents think of the online or homeschooling options?

They've been considering it for about two years now (seeing how much it truely screws me up). I don't have any issues with not socializing, because I see my friends regularly outside of school. It would also be easier to do online school, because I'm not distracted with things like: "Justice is so cute, Megan. I can't wait to see if he feels the same way!" I heard that on friday from across the room. :eew:
