Learning to read, how did you do it?

I couldn't learn the way the teacher taught in school, so I was homeschooled. I quickly caught up and surpassed my peers in reading ability.

I don't remember how and I don't remember when. I have, for as long as I remember, always been good with my first language, and I remember reading almost all the Goosebumps books when I was age 10 or so. Learned English from Gameboy/PS1/PS2 games and WoW.

I don't remember learning how to read, I remember reading when I was 4.

I don't know, I just did it. Most of the time it was from playing Pokemon. I also would use to memorize books and fool a lot of teachers into thinking I could read until they gave me a test and I totally failed it.
