I hope it stayed dope.

I put another 19 hour semester on the books, all 6 upper-level classes, each 1 a unique and beautiful A.

Please forgive my ignorance as I know little of college but do you mean 88, 18 and 19 hours of study per week or something else?

I've completed all but 3 high school requirements in two years and have a 4.8 GPA, and 5.0 if you count the college courses I've taken.
I'll be a full-time university student next year, excluding the English 4, Math 3 and chemistry requirements, all of which are at an advanced level and accelerated pace (either Honors or AP level, and 1 year reduced to 1 semester).

19 hours of classroom time per week, probably 30 hours of studying outside of class.

You make my 3.6 GPA feel small.

A 3.6 is quite an achievement. If you include the grades I got back when I was your age (before you were born), my GPA goes down to about that.

Got it. I didn't think any course could 88 hours per week. I hope...

No kidding.

I did my associates in 2003, but, couldn't continue on, I was broke, but, paid cash and made it.

Couldn't get past hr filters for a new job without a BS though. Even with a couple grants and my max alotted employers help for all three years, I still graduated with like 20k in debt... Varying interest rates, but, most are insanely high.

Well, not to brag, but I wrote a term paper for a mandatory "intro to special ed for teachers class" (ugh, the perks of being an education major, but it wasn't bad) that the professor thought was so awesome that he's going to help me try and get it published. It's sort of a "what does neurodiversity as a movement mean for teachers" type of deal.

I'm a little late on this thread, but congratulations! That is quite an accomplishment, and you deserve to brag about it, should you wish.

After months of waiting, I have been accepted to at least one of the eight PhD programs to which I applied: Claremont Graduate University Economics!

I got rejected by both Cal-Tech Behavioral Neuroscience and Columbia Finance and Economics, but with those, I was just part of the unlucky 97%. So, no shame there; I gave it my best shot.

I'm still waiting for replies from four programs, too, so I hope I'll have choices. Still, even if I don't, Claremont was among my top three choices.

I know you posted this more than a year ago but... I don't get it. How can a whole semester be only 18 hours of study? Is there some use of language here I'm not picking up on?

The 18 hours refers to the number of classroom hours per week in a university that uses the semester system. Each class is typically 3 hours, although in that semester I had one 4 hour class and one 5 hour class.
