:) ...me too. School is a no no. My classmates eventually labelled me 'Corner-boy' and I was generally just thought of as weird. People always relied on me for homework though.

I was a total loner. I sat alone at lunch (such a horrible thing to do in high-school!) and after school I'd either play my guitar, walk in the woods with the dog, or ride my bike. I wasn't hated in school, just not really close enough to call anyone a friend. People wouldn't go out of their was to hit me or anything, and there were a few occasions where I was included with the group, but I wan's in the same social orbit as the rest, and I'm not sure if I really wanted to be.

...rooftop?

I despised lunches and breaks in school. They are easier now as an adult in college / work because I am big enough to go for a walk on my own around the city. I'm even comfortable enough to just sit alone and not feel ridiculously out of place.

I was only diagnosed with AS a few months ago - I'm 23 now - but everything from my childhood makes so much sense now.

Noone, really. I tried hanging out with other guitarists before but it turns out they were all jackasses who were just playing guitar to get chicks :?. I have a few "friends" but I hardly ever see them.

I was with the Quiz Bowl (Jeopardy for students) group. Were were like nerds, but not unpopular.

The ultra rejects rejected me so I hung out with no one. I learned to cope by redirecting the hatred of myself to other people. :D

I was a loner throughout high school. People didn't have anything to do with me. I didn't have anything to do with them. I did make a couple of friends in my senior year though. They were kinda on the outcast side.

I haev a tendancy to hang out with, and talk to people who in the back of my mind I consider either worse than me or lower in the social heirarchy.

I'm a horrible person.

Not necessarily. Don't be hard on yourself. People naturally seek-out what is most comfortable to them and if talking to those people is most comfortable for you then so-be-it.

I hung around with the kids that eventually turned into druggies, cause I was scared to try and make new friends. Some of these druggies got better, some didn't. When I got to college, I tried to hang out with geeky kids, but it didn't work out. Now I hang out with druggies that don't do drugs at NA meetings.

I didn't hang out with anyone, early on. Then I started having some gamer friends.
