Modern day education is not perfect (Far from it.) but it's not a racket. It's simply made for normal peoples, not aspies with high intelligence like those answering on this thread.

That isn't true. It isn't made for high intelligence neurotypicals either. The valedictorian in my class hated school with a passion and found it incredibly easy. He is writing a book about how modern education is a racket.

I didn't said it was made for highly intelligent NTs, I said it was made for "normal" peoples. If for him being valedictorian was easy he's not well placed to judge either education work for normal peoples.

Funny how intelligence is a negative attribute in regards to the education system, that the intelligent are held back just for the sake of it... and how the intelligent peoples experiences and ideas about the system are invalid because of their intelligence.

The valedictorian 3 years prior to my graduation also criticized the education system during the graduation speech.
Two years prior to my graduation, the varsity debate team captain (who was nationally ranked) also criticized the system.

John Henry Newman's book "The Idea of the University" which is considered a classic philosophical work on education also is greatly critical of our modern education system event though it predates our modern education system. It was critical of the education at that time and it applies very well today.

I don't think it's suitable to say that modern education is flawed but good and at the same time dismiss those who are known to be highly intelligent? Is the way to improve something done by only listening to the less intelligent people.

(Sorry, the first post failed for some reason.)
