The only major cities in Texas where I could afford to go to college, and get in easily, were Houston and El Paso.

I believe this is true to a significant enough extent.

Did you ever consider a technology/science oriented school instead of a liberal arts one? With a school more focused towards technical fields you may have more luck finding someone of the aspergian personality type, from what I've read on the subject. Irregardless, you seem intelligent and level-headed, I think you should do what feels right and I wish you the best in your situation.

I don't know where one is that's close to me.

No, I live on campus at my school. I don't live in a big city.

And the nearest AS support group is in Fort Worth, 100 miles away. There are no single, liberal Aspie women in Wichita Falls, none in the Dallas-Ft. Worth area, none in Oklahoma City, none *anywhere* near me.

If you are living on campus, then what's preventing you from moving to a school with a higher likelihood of having Apergian students? From what you are describing, it sounds like there is no option for you to meet such a woman without going far from home.

I am worried about amassing a large amount of debt.

Oh yes, I didn't even consider out-of-state costs.

The University of Washington would have cost around $50,000 total.
