that's strange, i do that too, but eyes
for some reason when i doodle things, i always end up making them eyes
i might just start making a small random pattern and then i'll just make another one quick, draw a big circle around it and make a childish mouth and nose and it's a 3 year old face drawing, haha
but a lot of times i end up drawing what becomes the eyes of a face, not a face and then eyes
it's just a really bad, messy, scribbled face thing 8)

Like a hurricane blew through it and nobody survived :(
It's scary.
I get it organized every week, and I still manage to mess it up :P

My notebooks for school are filled with scribbles and random strings of text. I fall somewhere between those who take lots of notes and those who don't take any.

my notes are actually not horribble this semester. usually every available space is covered with a random doodle, but I don't take notes in english or history (its an internet class). math notebooks are the worst, and my handwriting is, um unique xD.
but things really get interesting when I'm bored, if the teacher uses an overhead projection sometimes i'll just imitate their writing style for fun, or write with my left hand, i've even written notes in my own "font", which looks kinda like webdings meets aramaic, aka completely illegible to everyone but me. my teachers don't really care because all they want is for kids to be quiet and look busy if an administrator comes wandering in.

Neat, (the occasional doodle!) organized and very clean penmanship.
Even though I have a laptop computer, I still use pencil and pad when note-taking. Transcribing it to Mac is the fun part later on!

My notebook organisational skills leave much to be desired. I have doodles down the margins, in the right hand corners (top and bottom) for some strange reason.
Writing-wise, most of it's readable, if it's dictation, I start off with the good intentions of writing well, then it goes horrible wrong up until the point where I give up and sit there staring into space.

I have notes from about five different lecture subjects loose in my notebook >.>

Yep. I am horribly unorganized.

I use a laptop. But my screen usually has a million windows on it and only half of them have anything to do with school.

Nobody seems to care except this one stuck-up girl in this one class I took who called me out for reading Mighty Morphin Power Rangers fanfics while taking notes. (Hey, at least I can multitask...I got 100% in that course).

Disorganized with some random scribbles here and there.

I guess I'm one of the few who are moreso into the neat category of notebooks. I have a compulsion to order in certain things and if my notebooks are not prefect it upsets me. I also have to have all of the words in my notes lined up perfectly so that they are symmetrical. If they are not all even and nicely sized, spaced, capitalized and coloured it bothers me whenever I look at them forever after and sometimes it bothers me so much I refuse to study from that page.

No notes at all. Just drawings of landscapes and anime and stuff like that.

Mine were disastrous too when I was in school. They usually also had stuff I wrote that had nothing to do with the subject the notebook was intended for, stuff I drew, notes I made to myself, fiction I was writing because I was bored in class, etc. I might also lose one or two pencils or pens in the notebook and they might fall out later on when I least expected it.

On the outside? I will not use plain notebooks. They must have animals on them. I loved Lisa Franks designs before they started focusing on people. The people look like sluts and I don't like people that much. My notebooks have pictures of tigers, dolphins and whales. When I was in public school I couldn't write very well because my hands cramped within just writing a few words now that I am homeschooled I can take all the time I need. My writing is now very neat.

Mine are reeeeeally organized because I'm a perfectionist. I tend to like solid colored ones, though.
