How big is your school?

I'm in grad school at a different school from my undergrad school, and have experienced few if any of those things.

Also, in the US, college and university are interexchangeable. It tends to depend on the size and funding of your school.

Isn't there an Honour Code and Honour Code Board for such offfenses at your college?

Yeah, Jerry and I go to GMU and there's an honor code there. On most of the exams there is a paragraph at the top explicitly stating the honor code; a signature is required for the exam to be graded.

Of course, it's much broader than this.

I know. Maybe you could explain it better to Lost here.

yeah but... i've gathered from a lot of foreign (exchange student) friends that there's a lot of shenanigans that go on in college in other countries... even to the point of purchasing grades! i dunno how it happens but it really sucks for those whoe are there on their own (brainpower/heart).

maybe we should reinstate the GMU lunch time? i don't know if you guys are on campus during the summer... but i'm there evryday... though it's hard for me to arrange a lunch cause i don't have a concrete schedule (grrrrr) and i am having to teach a lot of people lab techniques for all the projects we have going on... ie, i have to do my work + theirs = little time.

but i'd like to try :)

I started to get somewhat nearer to grasp that number. Do I need to say that I am suddenly no longer in favor of democracy?

hehe, i really dont know why i like this picture so much, probably cus he looks like a guy i used to know

but i agree, there is a guy in one of my classes that did alot better than me on one of my assignments even though two days beforehand it was due i was trying (and ultimately failed) to explain to him that it didn't mater that his solution was close to mine cus he had used entirely the wrong method, latter on it turned out his tutor did it all for him .......... though thats really not as bad its just been pissing me off

I am going to a private 'international college' which focuses nearly entirely on computer- and multimedia related studies and is located near Cologne, NRW, Germany. I don't feel comfortable with telling its name, but if you consider going to a college there and see its campus located on both sides of a railroad track, re-consider it!

You're lucky your faith in humanity held out that long. I lost mine in primary school.
