Hehe thanks

10-15 hours of revision a day paid off for me :D

Since I was a little child I've always wanted to do Electrical (or Electronic) Engineering as I liked taking apart broken down electrical equipment like radios, clocks, TVs and even washing machines....though I don't always put them back together! I still do it now at the age of 17. My dream will soon be a reality.

I thought of applying to Cambridge, but I don't like the course they offer cause I'm gonna have to spend the first 2 years doing general engineering.. However, everything else about them is good! Imperial College would probably be the best for me.

Isn't Imperial really expensive? I got accepted there, but the price tag was so high that it was more a joke than anything else. But then, I'm American, and I don't know how much discount is given to domestic students.
But yeah, Imperial did look like it had an outstanding science program. Good luck in your studies.

In England international students have to pay like 5 times more. The tuition fees for all universities here are £3145 per year for UK citizens (around $6000). Accomodation costs vary between each university, but generally £3000-£5000 per year if you live on campus. If you rent a flat elsewhere, it entirely depends on whereabouts you decide to stay.

For people from low income families, they can get other discounts.

OK, that's not bad at all. Of course, Imperial doesn't have on-campus housing, and they require to show up-front that you have "enough" money to live in London. Or at least, that's what they told me. I hope you enjoy it, it really did seem to be phenomenal in the sciences, and I would probably have given it much more consideration if not for the obscene price tag they charge internationals.

I did well in my AP courses in highschool and it allowed me to take more electives in undergrad.... ie-courses i was INTERESTED in... not that i wasn't in love with my major or anything....

if you don't wanna take extra electives... you could graduate early.... though if you're gonna go to grad school... those extra electives can really help.

Wow. You're really dedicated. :o

I've heard Imperial's better for sciencey things, and it's becoming just as respected as Oxbridge.

Good luck, and I hope you love it! :D
