I diasagree with you, Space for multiple reasons.

1. Not all college students are drunks just the ones who like to party crazy. I have friends who are not drunks at all.

2. Each Grad School is different in their policies. I'm thinking about going into my college higher education program (grad school) and I talk with my academic adviser about it. She stated that is recommend to do a GRE but you do not have to take to get in and also I know a professor who teaches in that program as well.

3. My degree is in education so I have my options where to go to after I'm done at Mason.

i dont drink either

Seems like you are both missing out on one of the major points of university.

University is worth it in my opinion. It isn't always going to be hunky dory but its supposed to be hard so you feel like you've acheived something in the end. Otherwise the world and his wife would be hopping off to get a degree.

If you don't like the social crowd then simply rent a house off campus with a few quiet people and its sorted.

I'm in my final year now and its been hard, I can't wait for it to be over and actually start my own independent life but its worth it from all the things I've learned, both educational and life skills. I went to a fairly small university compared to some others and everyone is friendly, theres enough odd balls so that I have a fair amount of friends and umpteen people I could ask for help if I ever have a problem.

At 18 I don't think I would have been prepared to live on my own and have a job, now I think I'm most of the way there.
