I live at home and go to a community college, approximately a 35-minute
bus ride from my house and am paying for tuition and textbooks through a third party.

I live in the dorms. So many advantages to that over living at home. For the last two years I had some really nice apartment-style dorms, however this year I got stuck with the worst dorms on campus (the traditional "two people in a prison cell sized room" dorm). Still, they're not terrible, and if all goes well I'll be rooming with a friend this semester (my old roommate was an exchange student and thus moved out when fall semester ended).

For everyone saying how they would never room in a dorm because they're afraid of getting stuck with obnoxious people, it's really not like that at all. Most people get along with their roommates very well and college kids aren't like high schoolers, they don't go around acting ret*d all day. Unless you're so antisocial to the point where you can't stand the mere presence of other people at all, I'd suggest giving dorm life a try. Chances are you'll find it surprisingly pleasant.

I'm currently living home and I've been in university since 2004 (some years I had to take a reduced courseload due to anixety). I'm very close to my family and animals. We all have our "quirks" and are very understanding of each other. I do very little socialization outside of my close-knit family.

They don't have dorms at colleges in England. My house is just 15 mins walk from my college anyway.

When I first went to college I lived in the dorms. I only lived there for a year becau7se I flunked every single class I took that year. I flunked 9 classes. I didn't really ever go to them because I was either drunk, hungover, hung over and high, drunk and high, or just high.

I went back to college recently and live at home. I'm kind of old to live at home but I don't care.

I used to live on campus when i was at school, but that was because i wasn't near home. Now, I'm transferring back closer to home and I will be living at home because i won't have to worry about paying to live on campus, food, and so on.
