Started in August 1998...and finished in December 2005. By the end, I'd joke that I started college sometime in the early 50s; it certainly felt like it.

By the time I'm done with my degree, it will be more than ten years. I have to take it slowly with this, otherwise, I get overwhelmed so easily with so many classes.

I took my first college class in 1986. I got my B.A. in 1998 or 1999, I don't remember. I had about twice as many credits as I needed, but all in the wrong stuff, like "aviation management", and "the history of math", and "C++". Not too useful for a degree in Anthropology, which itself is not too useful.

It took me 4 years, however I also worked full time and held a position as a research assistant, successfully completing my own study. My job and my study were extremely related ot my interests so I loved it.

I graduated in May and hate being out of school. I didn't have time or money last year to prepare for graduate school so I am doing that now so I can attend in the fall. I miss school so much and try to supplement it by watching lectures online and reading textbooks, it's just not the same.

I should be finished in December, 5.5 years after I started. I went right after high school, but I took a semester off due to health problems and then went back part time AND changed my major, so I got pretty behind.

not bad, considering you're only 23.

I was a ******* idiot. I saw college as more of a place to sort myself out and learn social skills. I, uh, took 6 years to finally obtain my AA, then 2.5 to get my BA.

I went straight to uni to get my BEng after high school. I did 2 years full time and then the rest part time (because I was working almost full time). In all it was 5 years, plus 6 months for an internship - who offered me the job I'm still in today. Last year I was accepted into a film school and did a 1 year Screenwriting Graduate Diploma. I know I'll go back to school again later in life but I don't know why. I hate getting tested.
