Well, let's just say I now have quite a "weak" bladder; all those times I waited out a whole day, just to go home to use the toilet...Also my "fear of germs" definitely peaks in that place.
...And, to make it even worse the place reeks of cigarette smoke and somehow some always happens to not flush! Ewwww

The school bathrooms I've known tended to be clean, but I rarely ever used them. I rarely ever needed them during the day and would use them if I did need to. I do hate the sound of the hand dryers though, it's really loud, and is about as bad as mosquito noise.

Before my old high school was bulldozed and relocated to another area, the toilets are nasty and I even saw a flush handle broken off. As for the urinals, some are clean, some are dirty. I even saw my favorite urinal model made by Eljer.

I don't like public toilets for hygiene reasons, and the fact that a lot of them get blocked!
Some people at school graffiti in the loos with felt pens, usually messages like "<insert name> was here" or "I love <whoever>". One person actually wrote on the back wall of one cubicle "This way to the ministry of magic" with an arrow pointing at the toilet, as done like pictures on the Internet!
Actually, school toilets used to be the only safe place at school or, in other words, the only place where I didn't have to share my personal space with others.
They weren't the best looking but always clean.

The bathrooms at my high school are awful. Between flickering lights, graffiti on the walls, unflushed toilets, pot smoking, and whatever else, they should be avoided. However, if you absolutely have to #2 in school, use the disabled toilet; you can hold onto the handrails to avoid liftoff
