When disability support claim you don't have Autism
I got a response from the college regarding my complaint. Apparently, I said I don't have Autism. Er, why would I say that when I've got it in writing? It's them who claim I don't have it. And they're not willing to give me the support I need, because apparently, I "don't need it". Yet, it's been recommended by 2 previous universities and another college.
They can't give me a solution for when it gets too noisy and I have to leave. They think it's ok for me to stay in the classroom. They know I go non-verbal and won't offer another solution for how I can communicate with them.
This is the only adult education college in the city. Else I would go elsewhere.
