Update for those who are interested. My mom recently exchanged several calls between the special services lady. basically, they are refusing to shorten my schedule (which I was half expecting anyways), and that in order to even attempt to do it, we would have to drop special services, and go through the guidance department. And even then they might not do it. Typical public school B.S. I'll keep posting when I get updates.
