math for A-Levels. (a Pre-university exam).
Before this, I did very badly for history, partly because I can't memorise and because I get bored very easily.

I chose math, but it's a complicated answer really. I do well in math, I just need a lot of time and sometimes considerable help from the teacher. I'm in trig right now and though I understand the work, I do it so slowly that I'm behind in the class. I had a terrible time with grammar in high school but I'm excellent at most things English, so I don't know how to respond to the English question. I scored really high on the ACT in my English and reading sections and took some honors English classes in high school, I just never did get that grammar. I'm good at most stuff, just a little slow to catch on I think :]

Maths was the hardest for me. My favourite subjects were Biology, Art and Drama (particularly art because I want to be an animator). I'm fairly good with languages. I think Spanish and French were fun. I think it's because I'm good a memorising things (same goes with biology). English was complicated; I wasn't bad at it per say. I'm very good at analysing literature. I'm terrible at close reading. I can tell you all about the Crucible, the themes, the characters and the messages that the play is trying to convey, but I am so bad at summarising this information in a timed essay. I love language and it's ambiguity and yet I absolutely hate it's ambiguity. It's all very confusing. My teachers were baffled at it as well.

Maths! A lot of the algebra and fractions and stuff like that make no sense! I'm too slow for mental arithmetic.
I'm good with times tables though because all you need to do is remember a bunch of numbers, piece of piss. But anything more complicated than that? Forget it.
I somehow passed my GCSE maths with a C, I don't know how I did it!

I'm better at subjects that require you to think and be creative. Like religious studies/philosophy or art. I'm also fond of sciences like biology and evolutionary biology because that allows you to ponder big questions like how will life evolve after humans?

Literature and Geometry are terrible. I can deal with algebra now after a lot of practice, but the visual aspect of geometry is just murder to me and if I don't understand something, I take it literally, which means I often come close to failing literature because I can't see the deeper meaning.

For me it's the arts: Art, Music, Drama etc. I just have no imagination for those kinds of things. Although I'm decent at writing stories. I do well in English, but English is easily my least favourite subject.

How come I'm the only one who picked biology? Dx
Alright, it's not that I'm all that bad at it, I get B's at least, but when dealing with the body, blood and the like, I become so faint it's hard to concentrate. x_____x
Never really had any trouble with any subject in school, except for gym. Too clumsy to get good grades in that.

Except Geometry! I can close my eyes and convert the written formulae into Three dimensional images then wright them down into fractions. I had voted Math because alot of this is two dimensional, and so, is difficult to convert into three dimensional images, which leaves Me to having to 'memorize' quite alot of it.Geometry though, I really like it, and this is a form of Math that has practical uses, even 'Nature' is filled with 'geometric' patterns. :D

100% Foreign Language! It doesn't seem to be comprehendible to me for some unknown reason. With most other subjects if I focus and spend time studying, I can understand it and learn no problem. Foreign languages just mess with me, it seems...

History by far.

edit: I mean, passing history exams at high school or even college level isn't necessarilly enormously difficult, but I've never come close to feeling any real understanding of the history of human affairs.

Maths, but I've greatly improved.

Funnily enough, despite having a hard time with GCSE maths, I'm fine understanding complex financial stuff, as well as computers and programming.

I would say that the hardest subject for me is English. I often need much more time than allotted to write essays. However, I am a Grammar Nazi. I will correct anyone's grammar, even if I don't know them and am in a public area. That's about the only social situation I can handle. :P
