Do you have any "abnormal" interests?

I guess mine isn't abnormal because my Uncle Alan loved homework. Usually intelligent people like homework.

I am obsessed with a town here in Indiana called Carmel. I've come extremely close to moving there twice now, but Mom complained both times saying it was too far of a drive to work. Anyway, there isn't anything I dislike about Carmel. It's the wealthiest area in the state, the shopping is excellent, the schools are amazing, there are plenty of mansions scattered around, the people there are extremely nice to me, and I've never eaten food there I didn't like! lol Anyway, their high school's mascot also happens to be my favorite animal (greyhound). And their school colors are really nice together (blue and gold). So anyway, in tenth grade especially, people gave me an extremely hard time about this. I lived in a small town so everything was extremely cliquey. Since no one at that school liked me, I'd support Carmel High School instead of my own. I had about a billion enemies. The only thing people even liked about me was my fashion sense. But if any of you have any questions about Carmel, I'd be glad to answer! :D

I have an overactive fascination with Hayden Christensen. One day it rather just 'switched on' and I have not been able to shake it. I'm not into the celebrity stalking thing. He's just a neat person and I wish him well in his career and private life. 8)

You guys have the coolest interests! Mine are fairly typical, like metal health, physical health, Wicca, Japanese things....

I have a friend who not only worships Sonic, but also is a fanfic writer and a fanartist of Sonic pictures (She even managed to get the origional Japanese version of the shows and has either played or owns most of the games there is, if not all). If anyone here wants some pics of Sonic et. al, PM me and I'll send some to you...

The only thing "wierder" than my interests is that I know a group of people who are interested in the same things, and they're all classified as "abnormal" by the school staff...

Still... you people have awesome interests! :D

Grossness - you know those people who go to sites like rotten, ogrish or b0g and download pictures and videos of corpses and murders, and other stuff that'd probably make you throw up if you saw them? And watch movies that are little more than 2-hour orgies in blood, violence and depravity? Yeah, that's me.

Reading - In swedish class two days ago, I found out that more than half my class had never read a book, by themselves, outside school, so I guess it fits here.

I've read LotR and its associated books alot, and know much about the mythology of Arda, but I guess that's not unusual here.

For some strange reason I seem to be interested Adolf Hitler and WWII right now. I've been wanting to write a full length report on him but have not had any time.

My most abnormal is blood. I think it tastes very good and I drink it whenever I can. It's the main reason I like vampires and want to be one.

So THAT'S why New Zealand's not getting sufficient blood donations!

I don't think I have a weird obsession, just my story is all. However, my story is INCREDIBLY deep. So much so, that one of the characters has cartoon characters of her own! The story should be done by around this time 2010...

From the time I was 10 to 15 years old, I was obsessed with origami. I made thousands of paper stars, flowers, hearts, and cranes. I even made some of the origami papers myself. Strung all the stars (6,000-ish) together and hung them from my bedroom ceiling. It looked pretty cool but my family thought I was psycho and kept on asking why I was making so much. Didn't know about autism at the time.
Trashed it all during a bad day though.

Well, if we're all admitting our abnormal interests, I'm a TF fan. TF stands for Transformation which I absolutly ADORE stories where a person is turned into somthing they're not. I also plan on buying little cat ears and a cat tail when I get older. I'm pretty sure everyone would think me as 'wierd' for it so I keep it out of public areas and only on the internet and with my closest friends. . . I also like Dr. Phil (people jump up and hell "Blasphemis!")

heh, ya I've heard of animorphs, but I don't really like it that much. I much more prefer series where they're more stuck in their form and it's forced. It gives a element of adaptability of the human and it's funner to see how they react. I'm more interested in the Winds of Change series. It's an internet story that's really awsome in my opinion and I also like to do some writing in my free time.
