I did my undergrad in Economics with minors in Spanish and International Studies. Now I am doing my grad in Economics with a lot of statistics and econometrics. I especially enjoy econometrics because it is how my mind works. With good memorization skills you can skip past trying to memorize all of the equations to the logic behind the material.

Although I'm not yet in college, I've had the same potential majors in mind from early seventh grade through my first three years of high school, so I doubt I'll have changed my mind by the time the issue becomes a pressing matter. The majors I am aspiring for are BS Mathematics, and BA Music.

I'm finishing my freshman semester in a few days, working to get a BA in Magazine Journalism. It'd be cool if I could work at EGM or PCGamer or a magazine like that. Right now though, I'm just SO glad that my first semester is almost over. One last day, and one last final...

BA in Integrative Studies: Concentration in Social Science for Education. I am also thinking about getting a masters in Special Education. :)

Hi to everyone. I'm new around here. I'm enjoying reading all your threads and getting to learn quite a bit. I'm not young but I'm a full time student, double major Business administration and Middle Grades Education Math & Science. Finishing my sophomore year this semester. I'm enjoying school a great deal more now that I can take most of my classes through distance Ed and don't have to be in a room with so many other real people. :D

Welcome aboard, Taken!! You'll like it here, kick your feet up, relax and stay awhile!!

Good luck in school & with your son.

I have a BA in English, and it kicked my butt getting it and I have no family at all! The whole 'born single, live single, die single' mentality! It's lonely, but gives me plenty of t5ime for school and to read!

Thank you for the welcome. I have no family either. Have no contact with my family anyway. It's just me and my kids. I had 3 failed marriages actually and then finally accepted that there was one thing in my life I wouldn't be able to excel at...relationships...and I'm ok with it. I kinda like being single because it is so draining to deal with others and I always thought maybe I was just a mean person although I never felt mean or hated anyone. I love school and I love to read. Unfortunately most of my reading now is economics and marketing related which I find dry but the occasional Lit class is a nice break. Maybe I should have majored in English...but I take a great deal of artistic license in my sentence structure and do not speak or write in proper form so I don't think I'd do well teaching it. :D :D
Do you teach?
