Also, keep in mind that I am 28 years old, about 5-10 years older than most college students. In the U.S., one is expected to have his/her bachelor's degree by the age of 22 or 23.

Part-time employment wouldn't be sufficient. NT women will only date guys who make at least $50,000 a year.

Where do you get this? College students date all the time, and hardly any have full-time jobs. Who can work full-time while simultaneously going to school?

And none of the NT women in Wichita Falls are liberal, they are all conservative. And they take fundamentalist Christianity very seriously. If God told them to jump off a cliff, they would do it.

If it's really as dire as you say, you must either transfer to a more liberal area, or forget about dating until you graduate, right?

All the deadlines have passed at all the liberal areas. Unless the city of Wichita Falls bans religion, my chances of finding a liberal female Aspie are zero.

And I have noticed that most people who watch South Park are either atheists or agnostics.

I would think twice about a guy who didn't like South Park.

I'm not an atheist. I was perturbed that many people who watch it are.

I think you should look into the college I go to. It is called Central Washington University. Its an amazing college, and Seattle isn't all that far. I know we have a good geology department. If you want more info or have any questions you are more then welcome to PM me.

Good heavens. If you don't want someone who's religious OR an atheist, you're restricting yourself to agnostics. That's pretty restrictive!

Actually, I am a semi-practicing Lutheran. I have been considering Unitarianism, though.

Oh, sorry. I tend to equate religion, especially American Christianity, with conservatism, but I admit that's fallacious.

Fallacious perhaps, but unfortunately, I have found that that correlation rarely fails.

Does anyone know of any public universities near Austin, TX other than UT Austin that offer geology?

Tim: why does it matter what people's opinions are and what they believe in? You're not in a relationship with them so their beliefs shouldn't matter. It only matters when you are in a relationship.

Well, there is a specific person I have in mind. I've known her since May of last year, and we've met in person a few times. She and I have virtually the same interests and beliefs, but...

...she lives near Houston, and I live near Dallas-Ft. Worth. She has applied for jobs in Houston, DFW, and Austin. And right now, it appears more likely that she might be moving to Austin.

She said she couldn't do a long-distance relationship, even though I am willing to travel. She said a relationship is possible if she gets a job in the DFW area. She is putting conditions on a potential relationship. Isn't love supposed to be unconditional?
