I like math! It was always one of my best subjects in school. I even took AP Calculus in High school and physics in college (I consider it to be more like math than science because of all of the formulas that require math in order to solve) but I always had problems with proofs and some geometry like measuring arcs in a circle. Usually got an A in the class except for geometry.

I don't find doing math stressful, as it comes naturally to me, so it is alright to me. As a computer science major, I am required to take math classes. Recently, I have taken Multivariable Calculus, Differential Equations, Set Theory, and Advanced Discrete Mathematics.

I like math when I can apply it. So statistics and differentiation for graph data I can learn in a snap. I also like using math to do budgets, saving money long term, and presenting data. Things like Geometry and proofs are difficult for me.

Math can be the difference between promotions and staying at the same old, low paying job. Math can be used to analyze or figure out if someone is lying to you either for financial or political gain.

People need to see math for it's uses. Or else they will be left behind. It would do many people good to know math.
