Naaa.......
I tried teaching for about 6 months after I graduated, and it's just not for me.

Everyone else in my degree plan did go into education, I just wanted to learn and possibly become a writer. But before I graduated, I took the teaching cert. classes with everybody else.

I too, found myself reinventing sentence structure! Taking English III and IV will cure you of that and help you focus yourself better!

I miss being in school, BTW. The VA paid for mine, and I could not get them to pay for any more. Oh well!!

Graphic design, and painting (for now, but that means it'll take me another whole year to get out of this treadmill system, and 6.5 years for a pair of degrees is too much for me). 18 nonstop years of "Education" is enough thanks, I'd like to get on with my learning.

I also do pattern recognition and data mining, but I would see those as machine learning applications.

Hello WPers,

THis is my first post, anyway ...

...I am majoring in geology. Hopefully, I will end up getting a PhD in volcanology -- a fitting thing to study in Alaska -- where I am located at the moment, but hope to travel the world to see other volcanoes.

I just completed Geology Field Camp this past summer -- up here in the harshness that is Alaska.

May all my faults remain normal!

Physics. Thinking about going into theoretical or astrophysics.

Another thing I've also been thinking about is a math minor.

Biology. I find the subject utterly and completely fascinating.

I applaud you. I am very interested in those fields and actually considered majoring in physics, but changed to biology since I enjoy it equally and have a greater aptitude.
