Depending on what area you go into, there may not be as much math as you thought. I'm hopeless with numbers, but have found many of the subject areas fine.
The field is fascinating and incredibly rewarding, and there is opportunity for specialisation in many areas.
You may also get additional help with the math side of things, many universities offer additional classes or tutoring.
If you do go for that, check that the staff actually know what they're talking about... Some universities just use the interest in forensic science to fill places, and don't employ competant, "time-served" scientists or scene examiners, who are the people you really need.
A degree from somewhere like that may not be worth much...
If you were to consider that route, I would be interested to see what area you were interested in, as it is always beneficial to collect proffessional contacts...
