Most important thing is to wash new colour things away from whites for the first few washes.
Anyone here good at sorting laundry (colors/fabric types)? Plus, in general how do you know if you can just throw all your stuff into one load? (Ironically my mother is a sorting, folding laundry nut but I don't get it!

)
I'll give you an example:
1. white linen type shirt & cami (was just gonna stick it w/ underwear)
2. Underwear & socks, etc.
3. brightly colored shirts (blues, greens, pinks, etc.)
4. rainbow and/or blue swirly colored skirts
5. loose fabric pants/including gauchos (very light tan/yellow, dark green, brown, &/or black)
6. jeans (I assume they go w/ everything safely)?
7. workout clothes (tanks, tight shorts or pants)
8. pajamas
9. new items (yellow OK w/ other stuff/won't bleed?)
Can all this stuff go together if its been worn before? I was told you need to be careful with new stuff. Funny, I can get my work organized but do not know how to do a load of wash!
